Proven cognitive benefits
"The piano is the easiest instrument to play in the beginning, and the hardest to master in the end." — Beethoven
Why it matters
More than an
instrument.

Piano is the foundation of all music theory and one of the most cognitively rewarding skills you can develop.

🧠

Develops both hands simultaneously

Piano is unique in training both hands independently — building neural pathways that improve coordination and concentration.

🎼

Foundation of all music theory

The piano keyboard visually displays music theory like no other instrument, making scales and harmony intuitive.

🎯

Trinity & ABRSM certifications

Our tutors prepare students for Trinity College and ABRSM exams up to Grade 8 and beyond.

🎹

Classical to contemporary

From Bach to jazz standards to Bollywood — the piano spans every genre imaginable.

Started as a complete beginner at 32. My tutor is patient, structured, and genuinely passionate about piano. I'm already playing full pieces after 3 months.

Returning to piano after 10 years. My tutor assessed my level perfectly and built a programme that filled my gaps while respecting what I already knew.

Do I need a piano or keyboard before starting?+
A basic keyboard (61 keys minimum) is sufficient for beginners. Your tutor can recommend a suitable model during the demo session.
What's the minimum age?+
We welcome students from age 5 upwards for piano. Young children's sessions are typically 30 minutes with age-appropriate games and songs.
Can I prepare for Trinity or ABRSM exams?+
Yes. Our tutors prepare students for all Trinity College London and ABRSM grades. They know the syllabus, marking criteria, and run mock exams.
I had piano lessons as a child — can I return?+
Absolutely. Many adult students return after a gap. Your tutor will assess where you are now and build a programme from there.
How long before I can play a recognisable piece?+
Most beginners can play a simple piece within 4–6 weeks. Pieces people actually recognise come within 2–3 months.
Is online piano teaching effective?+
Yes. Video quality is excellent for watching hand position and technique. Many students find online lessons more focused and consistent than in-person.
